Crime
Helen is named as a Leading Junior in the field of Criminal Law in the Legal 500. She has a busy Crown Court practice including cases of serious sexual assault, drugs conspiracies, violence, arson and offences of dishonesty and fraud. She both prosecutes and defends and she has been led in a number of serious cases including murder and rape. Helen is a Level 4 CPS panel advocate, and is also a member of the Crown Prosecution Service approved list for the prosecution of rape and serious sexual offences.
Employment
Helen is named as a Leading Junior in the field of Employment Law in the Legal 500. She accepts instructions in all areas of employment law, including unfair dismissal; discrimination; ‘TUPE’ transfers; “whistleblowing” protected disclosures; breach of contract claims; and wrongful dismissal. Helen is a member of the ELA and provides training on their behalf. She volunteers with the Employment Tribunal Litigant in Person Support Scheme and is the bar representative of the Wales Litigant in Person working party.
