Alycia Carpanini was called to the Bar in 2020 and joined Iscoed Chamber as a tenant following completion of her pupillage in November 2022.
Alycia was born and raised in Penclawdd, Swansea and she was educated at Gowerton Comprehensive School. She then went on to study LLB Law at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth.
Alycia attended the University of the West of England where she undertook the BPTC. In 2022, Alycia was awarded a Masters of Law that she commenced following her completion of the BPTC. Alycia is also a qualified Mediator.
Prior to starting her pupillage under the supervision of Robin Rouch, Alycia worked for a local Criminal Solicitor Firm as a paralegal, assisting in serious and complex criminal matters such as murder, sexual offences, violence related offences, fraud and POCA.
Alycia is a CPS Grade 3 prosecutor and accepts briefs to prosecute and defend in both the Magistrates and Crown Court. Alycia is a member of the RASSO Panel.
